About DealStacker
A UK shopping tool built on one stubborn principle: the number we show you is the number you actually pay.
Who we are
DealStacker is an independent UK project that works out the genuine cheapest way to buy a product. Most shoppers know discounts exist — loyalty prices, voucher codes, discounted gift cards, cashback — but almost no one combines them correctly, because the savings interact and the order they’re applied in changes the final price. We do that maths for you, and show the bottom-line cash cost after everything has been stacked.
We’re a small operation, not a big retail-media business. That independence is the point: it’s what lets us rank deals by what’s best for you rather than by what earns us the most.
Our mission
To make the real price of anything visible — and to put the kind of stacking that normally takes an expert bargain-hunter into the hands of everyone, in a couple of seconds. If a deal can legitimately be made cheaper, you should be able to see exactly how, and trust the figure without doing the spreadsheet yourself.
What we believe
Money advice is only worth anything if you can trust it. So we hold ourselves to a few non-negotiables:
- The price we show is the cash you pay. The stacked price is the real money leaving your account after every discount — no rounded-up “up to” figures, no theoretical maximums.
- We rank by what’s cheapest for you, never by what pays us. Rankings are driven solely by the stacked cash price. A retailer paying us more commission does not move up the list — ever.
- We never dress up our commission as your discount. The affiliate commission a retailer pays us is our income, not a saving you receive, so we deliberately exclude it from every figure we advertise to you.
- Cash now and value later are kept separate. Loyalty points (Nectar, Clubcard, Boots Advantage) are real, but they’re earned and redeemed later — so we show them clearly as “deferred value” alongside the price, never folded into it to make a deal look cheaper than it is.
- Searching is free, and stays free. Finding the cheapest stacked price is the core of what we do, and it isn’t something we’ll ever put behind a paywall.
- We’re honest about our data. While we’re in early access, any illustrative figures are clearly labelled as examples across the site, rather than passed off as live prices.
How we make money
DealStacker is free to use. When you click through to a retailer and buy, we may earn a commission through affiliate partnerships. That commission is paid by the retailer, costs you nothing extra, and — as above — never influences which deal we rank as cheapest. It simply keeps the lights on so the tool can stay free.
Where we’re heading
DealStacker is in early access. The stacking engine, the waterfall logic and the savings calculations are fully real today — what we’re finalising is the live retail pricing that flows into them. As we onboard live feeds, the sample figures are replaced by real ones, and nothing else about how the tool behaves changes.
The same engine powers both the website and the DealStacker Chrome extension, so the numbers always match — discover a deal on the web, and confirm it in your browser while you’re actually on the retailer’s page.
