How DealStacker makes money
Last updated: 17 October 2026
The short version
DealStacker is free to use. When you click a link to a shop and buy something, that shop may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and the commission never decides which deal we show you first.
Where the money comes from
Shops pay commission through affiliate networks, which record that a sale came from us. Today that network is AWIN; when we work with others, we’ll list them here. Commission is usually a small percentage of what you spend, it varies from shop to shop, and the shop pays it. It is never added to your price.
Which links can earn us money
- “Go to Deal” buttons on products.
- “Get code” and “Get deal” buttons on voucher codes.
- Some other links to shops.
What nobody pays us for
- Where a deal ranks. No shop can pay to be listed, featured or moved up. We rank deals by the price you actually pay after every discount.
- Cashback, gift-card and loyalty rates. We show them because they lower your price. The cashback sites, gift-card sellers and loyalty schemes we mention don’t pay us to appear.
- Black Friday verdicts. The price checker judges a deal only on the price history we record ourselves. Commission plays no part.
Our rules
- The commission a shop pays us is our income, not a saving for you, so it’s never counted in any price or saving we show.
- We only show a cashback or gift-card rate after checking it against its source in the last 45 days.
- We only show voucher codes that shops supply through their affiliate network.
What we count
We count clicks on links to shops so we can see which deals are useful. The counts carry no cookie, IP address or anything else that identifies you. Our privacy policy has the details.
