Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the DealStacker website at deal-stacker.co.uk and the DealStacker browser extension (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time (see section 11); continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2. What DealStacker is — and isn’t

DealStacker is an information tool. We help you estimate the lowest “stacked” price of a product by combining publicly available discounts (loyalty pricing, voucher codes, gift-card discounts and cashback) in a sensible order. We are not a retailer: we do not sell products, process your purchases, or take part in the transaction between you and a retailer. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, on their terms.

3. Accuracy and “sample data”

We work hard to be accurate, but prices, discount rates, voucher codes and availability change constantly and are set by third parties. We can’t guarantee that any figure shown is current, complete or error-free, and the actual price you pay is the one shown by the retailer at checkout.

While the Service is in early access, some catalogue and rate information is illustrative sample data, labelled as such across the site. Always confirm the live price, rate and terms with the retailer and any cashback provider before you buy.

4. Not financial advice

The Service provides general information to help you compare prices. It is not financial, tax or purchasing advice, and you remain responsible for your own decisions. Stacking certain discounts (for example, paying with a discounted gift card) may affect cashback eligibility; check the relevant terms yourself.

5. Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. If you click through and buy, we may earn a commission paid by the retailer at no extra cost to you. This never affects our rankings, which are based solely on the stacked cash price. See our privacy policy for how affiliate networks handle data, and how it works for more on how we make money.

6. Your account

Some features require an account, created via a secure sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• scrape, copy or re-publish substantial parts of the Service, or access it by automated means, except as permitted by our robots policy;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
• misuse voucher codes or discounts in breach of a retailer’s terms.

8. Paid subscriptions (DealStacker Pro)

Core search is free. We may offer an optional paid plan (“Pro”) for additional features. Where Pro is available:

• prices are shown before you subscribe, and payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card details;
• subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time via your account, effective at the end of the current period;
• your statutory rights as a UK consumer apply, including the 14-day right to cancel a new purchase of digital services (which may end once a service you asked to start immediately has begun);
• we may change Pro pricing or features, giving reasonable notice before any change affects your renewal.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, logos and the stacking engine, belongs to DealStacker or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial price comparison. Retailer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

10. Third-party sites

The Service links to retailers, cashback providers and other third-party sites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, prices, products or terms. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

11. Liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care but “as is”, and don’t guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on price estimates, from missed or changed discounts, or from your dealings with retailers. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes and contact

We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the Service, and may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
